We are looking for a Security Engineer (Business Information Security Officer) to join our team in Brussels:

Job description and core responsibilities:

As a BISO Engineer, you will join the enthusiastic and multidisciplinary team Business Information Security Office. They’re responsible to manage the implementation of the IT information security & Risk (IS&R) processes and standards. To achieve it, you directly contribute to their objectives:

• Supporting the implementation of the information security & Risk (IS&R).
• Supporting the Information Security and Risk Management practices.
• Coordination of the Information Security & Risk awareness initiatives within IT.
• Collaboration with the IT squads to ensure alignment with security principles.
• Build and maintain a good relationship with all IT interested parties in order to Monitor, control and report on the accesses of the IT squads.
• Report to the IT BISO.
• Interacts with the IT squads in order to raise the level of information security & risk into the required level and to monitor security risk related issues that concerned different squads and propose the corrective actions.
• Coordination point to ensure completeness of the application referential for information assets owned by IT.
• Document procedures and processes.
• Monitor and report on the status and progress of executed recurrent tasks: Control plan execution; Patch management dashboard; Internal quality control execution; Exception management (logical accesses).
• IT Risks follow up in Archer.

Mandatory Tech Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience and preferably in a transversal security role or IT role

You have (at least) a strong interest in the BISO domain and you can give a clear overview of its purpose.

You know your way around:

• Technology landscape: infrastructure, systems and processes such as Hardware, OS, network, …
• Stakeholder management.
• Communication best practices.
• Process, procedures and how important they are.

You surprise us with your experience in one or multiple of the following domains:

• Risk awareness.
• Incident management.
• Business Intelligence.
• Microsoft Office tools with an experience in VBA.
• Visio.
• Continuous improvement and automation.

Preferential Tech Skills:

• Experience in the banking sector.
• Experience in an IT infrastructure environment.

Languages: English

The candidate must be living in Belgium or with a desire to move there.
