We are looking for a Scrum Master – Managed File Transfer to join our team in Brussels:

 

Job description and core responsibilities:

  • As a Scrum Master, you will operate within the context of managed file transfer domain (CFT, XFB gateway, …), touching many applications. Your tasks are:
  • Set up and facilitate the Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
  • Schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology.
  • Guarantee a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the squad face any obstacles.
  • Provide assistance or support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog.
  • Assist and support the squad in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
  • Track squad capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
  • Help the squad face any difficulties and promote its gradual self-organization.
  • Remove barriers to squad effectiveness and protect the squad from outside distractions.
  • Risk & issue management.

 

Mandatory Tech Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Master or equivalent by experience.
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g. Rally).
  • Expertise / experience in Agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Kanban, Scrum).
  • Knowledge of managed file transfer domain (CFT, XFB gateway, sentinel, …).

 

Preferential Tech Skills:

  • Experience in the banking sector.
  • Experience in an IT infrastructure environment.

 

Languages: English + Dutch and/or French

 

The candidate must be living in Belgium or with a desire to move there.

 

Location: Brussels (Hybrid: 50% homeworking; 50% on site)
